Designed by Liisa Haataja and Pekka Korpijaako, each piece is highly polished and has an unusually long, slender handle. The knife turns on its side, allowing it to rest either on the blade edge or with the blade flat. The knife measures 9-1/2 inches in length, and the fork and soup spoon measure 9 inches. All of the pieces in this set are nicely balanced.
